Long time, no post
Haven't posted anything in the past couple weeks frankly because I haven't felt like it. I've been having a tough time getting over a cold. The previous week I ended up gaining 2 pounds and this past week I lost 2 pounds for an overall loss of nothing. The biggest challenge is still finding time to go to the gym. I'm getting next to no exercise. Well, we'll see if I can do better next week.

Another disappointment, but another accomplishment too!
I didn't make it into the Baseball Hall of Fame again this year. Apparently, hitting 2 home runs in Little League will never be enough.
On the positive side, I forgot how great it feels to fit into clothes that were too tight or uncomfortable to wear previously. I'm a sharp dressed man today who doesn't have to suck in his gut to button his suit jacket.

2008 will be a LONG year
Whew. This past week was kind of tough. I didn't have any setbacks, but there seemed to be lots of temptations. Everything from more holiday cookies and treats at work to pizza and wings at my house were calling my name all week.
I weighed in at 252 this morning. A 1 week loss of 3 pounds and a 16 pound loss overall. It looks like I'll be able to fit comfortably into the suits I have to start wearing at work this week. Now I REALLY have to make time to get to the gym. The exercise part of this lifestyle change has been sorely lacking.

Painful!
Oy! A quick post today. I've lost a total of 5 pounds so far. Slow and steady wins the race. Right. I"m getting a little better with making the right choices. It's exercise that I need to start focusing on.
